Week 12 — The Lovable Force

Haanel states that “It is the combination of Thought and Love which forms the irresistible force, called the law of attraction.”

As it is in the world of attraction, so thought and love are vibration and vibration is Energy. All intentions and actions that are love based serve to love with power. You already have everything you need from the infinite source and therefore you are here to be a channel of light and love to the world. The more you give, the more you want to keep giving. Love based intention and action creates more love, joy, happiness and abundance in your life. The more you are a blessing to others, the more opportunities will be manifested for you to give and receive blessings in the universe. (Reference: mindreality.com)

There is no getting away from the law of love. It is feeling that imparts vitality to thought. Feeling is desire, and desire is love. Thought impregnated with love becomes invincible. ….. and so we find that the law of love is the creative force behind every manifestation, not only of atoms, but of worlds, of the Universe, of everything of which the imagination can form any conception. (Haanel, week 12 – #18-19)

I love practicing the law of love because it makes my manifestation naturally and effortlessly.

Week 11 — Sowing the Seed

“The starting point of all achievement is desire.” – Napoleon Hill

“Plant the seed of desire in your mind and it forms a nucleus with power to attract to itself everything needed for its fulfillment.” — Robert Collier

A couple month ago, I had a desire that I would like to attend a 5-day meditation retreat during this holidays season, and I haven’t made a decision where I shall go.

Mandino, Og states that “I will remove from my vocabulary such words and phrases as quit, cannot, unable, impossible, out of the question, improbable, failure, unworkable, hopeless, and retreat; for they are the words of fools.” (The Greatest Salesman in the World (p. 65)) I agree with Og except the word “retreat.” I don’t understand why. I like to attend a meditation retreat once in a while especially when I had a storm of life. I was able to give time for myself to process the griefs right away. At the end of the retreat I became more loving, gentle, compassionate, patient and genuine with myself and others. I think I choose to keep the word “retreat” in my vocabulary.

Since my right foot hasn’t completely healed yet, I decided that I would have my mini meditation retreats now and then at home and apply Deepak Chopra’s suggestion “Mindful moment, discover the seeds. Take a moment today to consider a situation that feels like a failure or a setback. From that perspective, try to identify opportunities that could put you on the path to success.Write down the steps you can take to make your vision a reality. You can apply this exercise to all areas of your life. Take the time to look at each situation that challenges you and find those seeds of success that will attract greater abundance into your life.”

What kind of seeds do you sow?

Week 10 — Patience, Persistence and Perseverance

We have started our month 3 on Dec 1st, the Scroll 3 is “I will persist until I succeed” (Mandino, Og. The Great Salesman in the World)

Three weeks ago, my great lesson was improving my patience. Yesterday at my Brain Gym class, one of participants said “I am patient with my multi projects.” It was a great reminder.

While I was thinking what I would like to write about, I came across this quote “In the confrontation between the stream and the rock, the stream always wins, not through strength but by perseverance.” by H. Jackson Brown Jr.

Hmmm Be the stream which always flows until wins the rock. This reminds me about the power of Waterfall stream. When I was young I had opportunities to enjoy the fresh cool water, I had so much fun… I love waterfalls; some I can only watch them, some I can put my feet under the water, and some I can soak my whole body and play in the water.  I was very happy sometimes I was able to float along the stream of the water. I love most is the motion and the sound that the waterfall make. It is loud, strong and powerful.

“I will persist until I succeed. I will forget the happenings of the day that is gone, whether they were good or bad, and greet the new sun with confidence that this will be the best day of my life.

Nor will I allow yesterday’s success to lull me into today’s complacency, for this is the great foundation of failure.” Mandino, Og (2011-01-05). The Greatest Salesman in the World (p. 67).

The Scroll II lesson is “I greet this day with love in my heart.”

Albert Ellis states “The art of love… is largely the art of persistence.”… ha ha..

Week 9 – Have you ever measured your Love Tank?

In regard to Master Key lesson so far I like Master Key Part Nine the most because it relates to my theme of life: “The three things which all mankind designs and which are necessary for his highest expression and complete development are Health, Wealth and Love. Those who possess all three, Health, Wealth and Love find nothing else which can be added in their cup of happiness. We have found that the Universal Substance is “All Health”, “All Substance” and “All Love” and that the mechanism of attachment whereby we can consciously connect with this infinite supply is in our method of thinking.”

Many years ago I read the 7 Habits for highly effective people, Stephen Covey talked about Emotional Bank Account. I applied his theory to my own metaphor of a Love Tank. I believe that if we love ourselves, it means that we have a full tank of love. I would like to special thank to Rachel Mendoza and Dana McCaw for filling up my love tank this morning at Qigong class. They made me feel loved and supportive. For me love is a great foundation of self-confidence and self-esteem. Og Mandino states “if I have no other qualities I can succeed with love alone” (The greatest salesman in the world, p. 62-63).

It is a perfect day of gratitude. It is a full moon tonight. The Moon represents what we need to feel loved, nurtured and safe. My gratitude to my teachers, supporters, siblings, friends, clients and MKMMA members. I am sending you my love along with the ray of the moon tonight.
Happy Thanksgiving 🙂

Week 8 – A flamingo

I played ping pong with my friends last Saturday night four days ago, and I hurt my right foot. The X-Ray showed that the bone was fractured. I couldn’t put my weight on my right foot. When I stand I have to stand like a flamingo … ha ha a Flamingo

I did a review what was a hidden message regarding my foot injury. Definitely I had no plan to play ping pong on that day so I didn’t wear the right shoes. I felt tempted when I saw my friends played it.

The next day after coming back from seeing a doctor and listen to the MKMMA webinar, I wondered what was going on with me; I have followed the process closely and why I had a fear of moving forward. I love all the tools and techniques that I have learned from MKMMA. Somehow I was over stressed out and pushing myself too much, plus my impatience. I ended up that I was not be able to enjoy the process.

I was referred to a Podiatrist, I talked to the doctor’s assistant twice Monday and yesterday; and I was told to wait for their call. Up to this moment I still haven’t heard from the doctor yet. I love holistic healing. Besides using a cold pad and my Qigong energy healing to eliminate pain and inflammation, I went to see an acupuncturist on Monday. Dr. Jean Yu did a marvellous work. My foot immediately become more flexible because my tendon was unblocked and I can easily move my foot up and down.

Yesterday I received a Reiki healing from my awesome Reiki Master, Anne Denman. She made me feel confident that my foot heal up quickly. I am very grateful to receive Dr. Yu and Anne’s love and care.

I would like to express my sincere thanks to my big supporter, ElFrieda Blond who took me to the doctor and took good care of me, Denise Bailey for her first aid and loaning me crutches, Nancy Brown for providing me healing equipment, Mame Waughan for bring me fruits, all Qigong students for exercising with me this week and food, and Louise L. Hay for a great reminder message, “in my world, I am my own authority.”

I felt such a big relief, and I am still in Balance “a Flamingo posture”  for this week…ha ha..

Week 7 — Mental Diet

One of this week assignments is the 7 days mental diet – how to change my life within a week by Emmet Fox. The rule is to use the law of Substitution – replace every negative thought immediately with a positive thought. Begin at Day 1 each time it takes me more than 7 seconds to notice and replace the thought. Mark and Davene recommended that begin at Day 1 each time I have a negative thought…

A couple weeks ago I parked my car on the street opposite to the house. Unfortunately my car got hit by my landlady’s friend who came to attend a meeting at her house. I was asked to wait for half an hour and he would come to talk with me after the meeting. When I heard that my car was hit. I had no reaction and I felt neutral. After 30 minutes, I looked for him but I couldn’t find him. He left and I got a note instead. At that moment, I was extremely upset because he didn’t keep his promise. It was really a big deal for me regarding “ a promise” (my little girl said it). I called him and he didn’t respond to my phone. That’s big deal caused me more than half an hour to release it. The next morning I reviewed it and I talked to my little girl that she must let go of that big deal of promising. For me metal diet is part of my daily activities.

Since Sunday I have been doing quite well, Monday, before I drove my car to the auto shop, I called the Enterprise regarding a rental car to pick me up. The Enterprise agent asked me to call her again once I arrived at the auto shop. At that moment I felt slightly impatient to listen to her explanation why she couldn’t send a driver to pick me up even though I had reserved for it… but I politely said to her “Thank You” and finished the conversation.

Up to this moment, I didn’t experience big negative issues/concerns except my remaining resistance of change. About a month ago, my right elbow got hurt and I couldn’t find how that happened. A couple weeks ago I read the book Heal your body written by Louise L. Hay. According to Louise, the elbow represents changing directions and accepting new experiences… It’s really true. I did work on my resistance, and I felt better. Somehow today I was careless and my elbow hit against the door. It might be a message to tell me that I still have some remaining resistance of change which I need to pay attention and let go of it.

Never will I allow my soul to become complacent and satisfied, rather I will feed it with meditation and prayer.” (Mandino, Og (2011-01-05). The Greatest Salesman in the World, , p. 61-62)

Week 6 –The Greatest of Love

I love reading the Scroll II (Mandino, Og (2011-01-05). The Greatest Salesman in the World, , p. 52) “I will greet this day with love in my heart” very much because the content of this chapter has helped me reinforce my practice. I had an opportunity to practice loving kindness in 1995 and the result was amazing. I so thrilled with it. Since then I have been practicing this remarkable tool…. I would like to thank to my lovely sister, Usanee, who inspired me to practice this loving kindness.  My version of loving kindness is to acknowledge my unpleasant emotions, then eliminate that emotion one by one with Emotional Freedom Techniques,  then forgive myself and others, and then send whoever triggered me my happy love. If I still feel unhappy, I won’t send anyone love…

In 2011 I was introduced to “ho’oponopono” by my wonderful teacher, Wendy at Antioch, Santa Barbara. I consider that ho’oponopono is a shortcut of my loving kindness.Whenever I interact with someone and I feel that that person is in a difficulty situation, I would visualize the power of ho’ oponopono to that person.

This week I practiced addressing silently “I Love You” (p.61), I experienced my physiology has immediately shifted to a happy mode. It is very powerful in a different purpose of using ho’ oponopono. I posted the picture even the food gave me love…ha ha.. IMG_0382The other day I almost finished my breakfast I saw the heart and I found that it was the skin of almond nut. It’s super cool!!! I love you my delicious food!!!

When I read up to “If I have no other qualities I can succeed with love alone (p.62).” I recalled that around three years ago, at one of my meditation groups, a visitor, Mr. Rahu, talked to me “your radiant smile is more important than your English pronunciation so keep continuing practicing meditation and cultivating your confidence.” I am grateful and thankful for your kind advice. I am getting better and better everyday. I am very happy that I am a part of MKMMA!!! Thank You to Mark Januszewski.

I am also very excited about a compass. I got one yesterday; it is a mini four-in-one – compass, whistle, thermometer, and magnify. It’s cute… I still would like to buy more, but just compass only. I intended to get more by tomorrow. I stopped wearing a watch more than 20 years ago, and I never felt that I miss the watch.… Until last Sunday after listening to Mark J. I felt motivated and tempted to wear a compass.  Happy Compass!!!
